My personal profile for her: [link]

Appearance
Mane/Tail Color/Style- Dark-gray Lavender, with streaks of a seagreen/cyan tint. Natural. Bangs usually cover right half of her face; kept in a long braid that hangs over her right shoulder. Tail is long, thick, and full. Her hair is not completely straight, having subtle, natural waves.
Pelt Color- Light Wisteria hue.
Eye Color- Vivid Seagreen/Cyan. Pupils do not seem apparent...
Hooves- Light gray.
Body Type- Fortuna has a graceful, slim build with long legs.
Accessories- Two cuff earrings in her left ear. A wrap bracelet with two charms, reminiscent of her cutie mark. A ring at the base of her tail...Lastly, her treasured silver choker, emblazoned by a crescent moon.
Distinguishing Marks- She has a small tattoo near the corner of her left eye, which looks like her cutie mark without the cards.

Personality
Good Traits- Fortuna is a intelligent, knowledgeable, and patient mare, who understands that quality sometimes takes time no matter what it is you’re waiting for/trying to do. However, while keeping calm and collected, she is also aware that a good pace is important. She is also open-minded and is always willing to listen or try something new…if only to make sure she doesn’t like it. Fortuna isn’t a judgmental pony. She is a well-read and lady-like mare, and often speaks very eloquently. She won’t to stoop to underhanded tactics or to act crass if she can help it.

Bad Traits- Every pony has some parts of their personality that are…less than desirable, and Fortuna is no exception. She has a tendency of being a maternal/bossy mare and her little worries persuade her to take control of the situation or try to make things go her way. She does mean well, but she comes off as a bit snobbish when she does this. On that note, Fortuna is rather sharp-tongued. She is unafraid to speak her mind or to point out when someone's wrong or being crude. She'll respond curtly, promptly, and will put you in your place if need be. Although she is patient and tries to be understanding, there are quite a few things that annoy Fortuna. She'll try to just ignore them at first and continue as normal, but if they persist without reason…
Fortuna has an amazing memory, but it’s not that she holds grudges...it's that she'll always remember what you did FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIVES, even if she isn't mad about it anymore!

Neutral Traits- Fortuna likes to look before leaping, and think about the various consequences of her actions before performing them. She is a straight forward mare/speaker, preferring to say things upfront rather than dance around subjects. She may come off as a little oblivious because of that…Lastly, Fortuna is a protective pony that would never let anything bad happen to something or somepony dear to her.

Likes- Sweets, Fortune-Telling, Things to do with Stars, Myths/Legends, a Light Autumn Rain, Dancing, Old Movies, Stained Glass Objects
Dislikes- Spicy Foods, Fortune-Telling [to idiots], Rudeness, Mud, Lazy Ponies, The Cold/Snow, Graveyards, Being asked if she's a Gypsy

Special Talent: Fortune-Telling. Main methods involve Astromancy and Cartomancy and then to a lesser extent/support, Lithomancy.

Special Quirk(s)- Doesn't see exactly...right. Due to a little incident as a filly, her vision is somewhat distorted to see more color but less exact shapes...Lines are blurred, but colors are more vivid and things sometimes look like they're glowing. Almost like a warped version of electromagnetism. It's a little difficult to explain...but lets just say her vision is 'heightened' in some aspects. There's a reason she doesn't like hanging around cemeteries...And when it snows, the world just looks like white emptiness. She never talks about this, however, preferring to just hide away during winter. This is a secret she wants to take to her grave with her.

Bio
Original Hometown- Coltwall
Job- Fortune-Teller[Also makes fortune charms to sell]
Family- Dark Star[Father; not on good terms with], Stellar Comet[Mother; not on good terms with], Shooting Comet[Big Brother; on better terms with]
History: Fortuna was born into a regular, well-off Unicorn family, whose father is a rather well-known astronomer/professor. Astronomy and a love for stars actually ran in her family, and she was expected to have great potential. However, upon the arrival of a stranger in Coltwall...it seemed apparent that life had a different calling for young Fortuna. The stranger was a gypsy Earth Pony who called himself 'Vex', who's claims of being an amazing fortune teller and future seer that could solve 'all your problems', made quite a scene and brought in the crowd. Fortuna Star including...Unbeknownst to the public at the time, Vex was nothing more than a smooth-talking scammer out only to make money. But to Fortuna, he would become one of the most important ponies in her life...

Fortuna, intrigued by his charisma and 'power', approached him at the end of his 'show'. She'd never seen the use of stars and alignment of planets being used in such a mystical way--A stark comparison of the strict, science stuff her father pushed onto her...Just for fun, Fortuna began to play with the tarot cards he kept around but began to feel 'guided' in the way she folded, shuffled, and placed the cards. Upon seeing this, Vex decided he could use the young filly still undeveloped talent for his own needs and took the filly under his metaphorical wing. Over the next few months, Fortuna learned about the mysterious and beautiful side of space while unknowingly helping Vex with his schemes. At the same time, the two grew close and became more than just master and student--They were dear friends that shared their fears and secrets with each other.

After a while, Vex's past schemes caught up with him. He had only intended to stay in Coltwall for a while...but stayed too long for Fortuna's sake and the authorities finally caught him. It was then, in front of the royal guards, Vex revealed his true nature to young Fortuna...About how he was a liar and never had any talent in fortune telling. About how he was the black lamb of his family and stole the family heirloom--The silver choker with an emblazoned moon he always wore. And also how he was so glad to meet Fortuna and made such a good friend. He bestowed on her his choker and told her:
"You have a real talent--One that I could only pretend to have. You're amazing just the way you are and even being unable to see into the future, I know you'll do great things--YOUR way. Don't let anyone stop you, kid. I'll see 'ya around..."

Left crying and devastated, Fortuna watched as they took Vex away...She didn't realize until later that night when she went home, that she had gotten her cutie mark and assured her future as a fortune-teller.

She grew up on shaky grounds with her parents, who greatly disapproved the path she took in life. Eventually Fortuna moved out to do what she was meant to do. She set up shop in a town called Trottington, where she made good friends and met Omen--The little brother of Vex [who didn't like her at all, in the beginning], and life was good for a while.

However, Fortuna decided to move to this small pony town...Her reason? Best not to ask.
